Sam has been in the yachting industry over 30 years. With his global cruising experience, Sam has ample local knowledge of many locations around the world that he is always keen to share, ensuring a comprehensive holiday experience for his guests. An experienced seaman and captain, Sam knows how to make yachting a fun environment for guests and crew alike, and has a very good reputation for longevity amongst his crew.

Once on-board EMOTION², you will find Sam very polite, friendly, knowledgeable and flexible to guests’ needs. With Sam, you will have an unforgettable charter experience!

2019 will be his 6th season on board EMOTION².

Tim rejoins Emotion2 after spending the past two years cruising the Mediterranean. Having grown up on the east coast of Australia, Tim left school and served two years in the Royal Australian Navy. He has since spent the past 7 years in the yachting industry and has a wealth of Maritime experience on vessels of all shapes and sizes.

He has recently achieved his MCA Chief Mate qualification and is looking forward to further studies towards his Masters certificates in the future.

Tim is in charge of the safety of all guests onboard, as well as coordinating operations on deck. If you have any safety related questions during your time onboard EMOTION² please do not hesitate to ask.

2019 will be his 4th season on board EMOTION², he is the RYA PWC instructor on board.

Billy Coleman - Chef

Billy Started his journey in the kitchen at the age of 13 and has now over 16 year’s experience in the culinary industry. He has worked in some of London’s top Michelin Star restaurant’s as well as high end hospitality in his position as Head Chef at Chelsea Football Club, where he supervised the fine dining in the corporate boxes.

Award winning chef Billy joins EMOTION² after a season working in an exclusive chalet in the French Alps.

Billy strives to deliver beautiful dishes onboard to satisfy all tastes, by combining ingredients from far and wide. His food can be describes as modern European with a British flare. He also specialized in numerous Asian cuisines.

2019 will be Billy's 1st season onboard EMOTION².

Despina Dimou - Chief Stewardess

Despina comes from Greece, the land of ancient gods. She is a very efficient Chief Stewardess and a great team leader. This is her coming back on EMOTION² after two years spent on other boats where she refined her skills. Having spent 12 years in the yachting industry she will certainly be able to transform every guest’s stay on board in to an unforgettable and unique life time experience.

2019 will be her 5th season on board EMOTION².

Maaria was born in Estonia, a country in Northern Europe. As a teenager Maaria did a lot of travelling and it was then when she developed a passion for travel and discovering different cultures. After obtaining her Bachelor degree in Business, Maaria moved to Australia where she continued her studies in Marketing and worked in the hospitality industry. After spending five years in the land down under, Maaria moved to New Zealand for a year before starting a career in yachting. Her extensive experience in hospitality has given Maaria the right tools to make every guest’s stay on board EMOTION² a timeless one.

Maaria is a keen traveller, she enjoys surfing, snowboarding, cooking for friends and family and is passionate about fitness and wellbeing.

2019 will be her 2nd season on board EMOTION².

Regan James - Stewardess

Regan is from sunny South Africa, who has graduated with her honours degree in Bcomm Public Development Management from Stellenbosch University.

She enjoys traveling, in which she has recently done a ski season in Aspen followed by further travels. Regan loves new adventures, her family & friends, being active and learning the variety of cultures around the globe.

It is her second season on EMOTION² and she thoroughly looks forward to it.

Iulia was born and raised in the mountains of Transylvania; finished Mechanical University in the heart of Dracula Land and since then her passion for engineering is just growing. She has joined the yachting industry 9 years ago.

She has spent almost two year in Mexico where she learnt Spanish and then several years in Italy. In her free time, she spends time with her family. Iulia is currently working towards her Y2 certificates.

Luke Chalupsky - Bosun

Luke was born and educated in Durban, South Africa and now calls Porto, Portugal home. Luke is the son of an Olympian, international Lifesaver and 12x World Champion Ocean Kayaker, which has helped to instill in Luke the qualities of self-discipline and commitment as well as a passion for water sports. Luke has competed and achieved at the highest level of Ocean Kayaking, Canoeing and Lifesaving, being awarded a World Junior Ocean Kayaking Champion title in 2008. Luke has been a successful commercial and industrial property broker in Durban and Cape Town, South Africa.

Nick Philips - Deckhand

Growing up around the coast of Cornwall, UK, gave Nick the opportunity to learn to sail from a young age, here he developed a love for the ocean that keeps growing.

In his spare time Nick participates in high adrenaline sports such as surfing, downhill mountain unicycling, and skydiving as a solo jumper.

He also has a passion for music, playing the trombone for nearly ten years, and has recently been teaching himself computer programming.
